OK, everyone! It's time for a friends cut.
Some people just don't post anymore, some people who don't really talk to me, or even people that really don't have the same interests, and some other people I don't think they know who I am!

Update: I'm doing very well. Things seem to be straightening out. I have to finish my costumes for MegaCon, as well as my midterms. And I love Gino. ^_^  tan tan!

I finally caught up with the Bleach manga.....
OMG..... Ikkaku OWNS and poor Orihime... she needs love<3

I also began reading DEATH NOTE. Holy crap that manga is like crack! I can't stop reading it!! I keep telling myself "ok one more chapter and that's it" but i keep on reading. :P
I really love the characters and the artwork. ^^

Oh, and has anyone seen\read Magic Knight Rayearth and\or Scrapped Princess??? I'm wondering if they are any good.

For a while now, I've been wanting to make CGs for others. I've made a couple for a few people here. SO, I went through different galleries and I got to work. So far I have only finished 2:

I was browsing cosplay.com, and reading a couple of the captions on different cosplayers. I noticed that a lot of Asian cosplayers think that they are fat. O_O They are so effin skinny!! Have these people even seen an overweight person?? I just found it interesting, and then that led to me thinking about my weight. "wait, does that mean I'M fat??" I was like O_o WTF? NO!

Hello everyone!
This weekend was fun, and i'm sad that it's over.
I left on Thursday to Gino's house.
We hung out and watched Evangelion (it's really cool ^_^)
Friday, was spent with more Evangelion goodness, and trying to find all the pieces to Gino's costume. hehehe
Then, we went shopping for some last minute cosplay stuffies.
Saturday, we went to the FX show. Most of the morning was spent cleaning the van, and prepping up the costumes. We got there around 1-1:30. It's funny, because we were rushing to get there in time, because we thought we might not even make the pre-judging. Only to find out that there were only very few people entering. So I guess it worked out alright.
It took us a while to get into our costumes, since we both had so much crap on. Not to mention that Gino's costume requires a Tetris-like way of putting it on.
Anywho, after the pre-judging, we met up with Adrian, Chris, and Rob (i think that was his name :P). They were taking a bunch of pictures and stuff to 'document' the show and stuff.
Gino gave Adrian the Zabuza sword (which he almost rammed into my head because he wasn't used to carry a big sword XD hehehe)
So we pretty much waited the whole day to see if we made it to the finals, since we really couldn't do much. (we had so much stuff on, that we couldn't even fit into the dealer rooms). And the wind was NOT helping! (it was bending my feathers T_T)
We took some pictures, and hung out. A little girl came up to me and asked me if she could take a picture with me. She was so cute!!! ^^
5 o'clock came around and the finalists were announced. We were waiting at the wrong place, so we were running to the correct place after Lyn told us where to go. (Running with high heels on SUCKS!)
We got there and yayy we both made it to the finals. They told us we were supposed to take our costumes off, in order to pass through CityWalk (since we were supposed to go to Hard Rock Live for the final contest). They gave all the finalists life-size stands....Gino got a Stewie stand up thingy, and I got the Crocodile Hunter XD.
It was still somewhat early, but Gino and I decided to leave then and there since he was told that they might not let him in with his sword. Of course, we HAD to find a way to bring the sword, because Cloud is not himself without a Buster Sword.
So we parked at CityWalk, and started to wrap the sword in bags, so we could take it in. We figured, we should at least find out from security themselves if it was ok. We just walked up to them and they asked us if we were going to the 'contest thing'. I said yes, and they asked Gino if that was just a prop... and hey the Buster Sword was in ^^ yayyyy!!!!
(everyone kept asking Gino how he got the sword in... hehehhe)
So we finally arrived at Hard Rock Live, and waited outside for a while, until they let us in. Once there, we were taken backstage, where we had to hurry up and get dressed.
Going up on stage was fun. It was cool answering to the judges questions (even though one of them asked me something that I couldn't understand..... XD)
Then they called everyone up on stage and announced the winner.
After that, everyone was called backstage. We really didn't know what was going on. If we were supposed to wait or leave or what.
Some of the judges then came backstage and asked Gino a bunch of questions about his costume and then took pictures of him, myself, and a few other cosplayers.
Gino and I were exhausted at that point.... we just went to the bathroom, where there was a small lounge, to change. Of course, some drunk women came up to us and started talking nonsense.
Overall..... FX went alright. It was cool seeing friends, but the costume constest left me somewhat confused. It just feels like a haze... like "huh? what happened?"
THEN, we caught up with Adrian and walked back to the parking lot.
We were hanging out for a bit, and Adrian got startled by the Crocodile Hunter thingy, that was sitting in the car XD hehehhehe. Then, we went to drive him back to his car ...... which he didn't know where it was. Needless to say, it was in the wrong parking lot.
It was funny though ^^ hehehhee
Go ninja, go ninja, go!
anywho, we got back to Gino's very late (since we had to drive back to Tampa), and went to bed.

Sunday, we got up and pretty much had a lazy day. We were in zombie-mode (so tired hehehe). More Evangelion goodness, and relaxing ^^. We spent dinner talking with Gino's parents (they are really cool parents ^^)
sharing old childhood stories....most of them involving funny accidents :P

Then today, I had to leave.... it really never gets easier to say goodbye to Gino. I love spending time with him ^^<3
It's only been a couple of hours, and I already miss him terribly T_T.

It's so strange hearing from old friends!! Old high school friends have contacted me through my space, and I found it interesting to read about their lives now. Most of them are all about "getting effed up" and drinking and what not.... it just made me think "wow, that's so different from the new friends i have made". I like feeling comfortable with my friends, knowing that what we do is healthy.
I didn't really like reading about the partying ...... i guess it's just not me. I'm just happy going to the movies and hanging out, and the friends I have made recently, are like that too.

So i guess..... thanks guys, for being how you are. *fuzzies for everyone*

In other news:
I finally start school tomorrow! I had a problem with school (i suddenly had this debt of like $1,200 because my mom never paid for school since the last few months....and the school didn't say anything until now)
SO, i went to talk with them last week and they said i haad to at least pay half.... that's 620 bucks..... where the eff was I going to get that much money is such a short period of time?

Thank goodness I got some money today from my momma.I went back to school to talk with them again. So i sort of negotiated with my financial advisor and she let me pay 200 bucks and i was cleared and ready to get my schedule. So YAYY!!
I also found out that if I have at least 60 transferable credits, I don't have to take the SAT.... (as you guys know, i'm looking to transfer schools) ...... the problem? AIFL is not a credited school... which means... i might have to take the SATs after all.
I have to talk with someone at school about it, so I can get a move on with the application.

Last night I joined My Space. (yes, i know, i gave in to the trend)
Anywho, there was a very simple and common profile to fill out. Or so I thought......
I spend like 45 minutes trying to figure out what to write under "About Me". Of course, I took the lazy way out and wrote a sentence....
This left me thinking "do people really KNOW me???"
I kept thinking about how people react when they find something knew about me. I guess I am not like "HEYYYYYY this is me and i do this, this, and this!!"
But then I thought, that I don't really know everyone here very well either.

I love comic books. Spider-man, Fantastic Four, Elektra, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, etc.
Music is my life.... i listen to music all the time. ^^ (i'm currently obsessed with Gackt - Vanilla ^____________^)

Final words:

LIFE
We have but one life, let's live it to the fullest. I see that people now are caught up in so much stupidity and grief, when we should all smile and keep on going. I know how hard life is sometimes, believe me, I have been through MANY trials and horrors that I would never wish upon anyone, and I know i'm the first one to get emo. But I think if we all make an effort to smile and live life to the fullest, then things feel better. A smile rubs off on others.
LOVE
People with relationship problems etc: Kaze knows best. Go read her LJ post and you will understand!
I think that as human beings, we worry about affection. I used to think that love was something that only happened in fairy tales, and I thought that maybe I could go on through life with what little affection I could get. Falling in love DOES happen!! Even if you're a toughy who believes it will never happen to you. Bull poop!! If you are confident in yourself then love will find you!!
COSPLAY
OK, I have to mention this because it's a common interest between most of us. Cosplay is supposed to be fun. It's a way of being creative and figuring out how to make things. It's about being a character and, again, HAVING FUN. I see people worry so much about it!! If you cosplay the same character, people get so angry!! I know, we want to be the only ones cosplaying that character, but there is no use getting upset about it. "don't hate, congratulate"
Ghetto cosplay, as some people like to call it. I know not everyone knows how to make costumes, and yes a lot of times those people think that they are the best. I like seeing well made costumes, and I do find myself thinking "oh man..... that's kinda crappy" WHATEVER! we ALL do that!!! What sucks is people who are judgemental and mean. I think that if you have something negative to say about someone's costume, then just help them out. True that not everyone can take critiques well, but if we approach and help each other out, then we will learn!! on that note, if I make something bad, TELL ME!!!! (don't be mean though, ok? thanks ^^)
Another thing: costume contests. Ok, I nearly got hung for this one. People are very competitive, period. I enter contests to display my costume.... obviously if one gets something, then cool, if not that's awesome too! I should mention Metrocon (YES, i'm going to talk about it!). I entered the costume contest with my dragoon costume. I realized what a bad idea that was, after. I seriously just enetered to show off my costume (i'm not going to lie, i like going on stage and posing as the character)
Everyone was upset because I had already won at Jacon with it. But seriously, I didn't even think I would win at metro. That was not even the plan. I had people in line telling me that the judges might kick me out. (which they didn't, and BTW, they did a fantastic job judging!)
I just wanted to wear my costume on stage again. Why? because at Jacon my wings broke before going on stage and also because it's a costume that i spend half a year making. I saw people wearing the same costume (costumes that had won before) so I didn't think it was a big deal. Oh boy!.... needless to say at the end of the show even the judges were crying. Why are people like that? I don't know....... but what I want to say is that everyone should be cool with others. We have all seen the good and the bad in the community, so let's just keep the fun aspect of the hobby.

Since I just got home from Tampa, I was able to see a couple of cards.

Well, my Christmas was awesome. Gino came to visit, and we were able to spend a lot of time together. Being together for Christmas was great. ^^ best x-mas ever!
I got some awesome gifts and Gino made this kick ass Bleach shirt for me (it ruleeessssssssss!!!!!!)
So a couple of days later, we both left for Tampa. Wow, 4 hours seemed like nothing! We spend New Years there. We had awesome food and counted down 2005 just the two of us, which was cool ^^.
The rest of the time in Tampa was spent mostly making commissions and watching Chobits. (I had already watched the series twice, but XD it's 100x funnier with good company)Both Gino and I agreed that Sam should cosplay Sumomo, despite her dislike for pink. (Sam you would rule as her. If you did, we would SO cosplay with you ^^)
So this wonderful time was over today. Gino drove me to the Greyhound station, which took us a bit to find. And when we finally did, I got the biggest empty feeling in my stomach. I felt crappy, and I secretly wished we hadn't found the bus station. But, it was time to come home. Waving goodbye to Gino felt awful. I was trying not to cry, which was useless because throughout the entire trip I had moments that I couldn't help the tears. I got home after 7 hours of sitting in a bus. It was alright since I slept through most of it, and I had two sandwiches that Gino had made for me.
So now, I am back home...... back to mom's complaints and letters of credit card debt (I guess debt caught me early on T_T)

I'm not sure when I'll be able to see Gino again, hopefully soon. Distance is tough....

AAAAND I went to go see Aeon Flux with m'fuzz, which, to my surprise I enjoyed very much. I was very skeptical of it being sucky, but I liked it. ^^ and I loved the little bits they included from the series. Hmm..... I might just cosplay the movie version.
